12/20/2013: Oak Grove Engine 2

With the addition of a 2nd engine (CAT 3520C), Oak Grove becomes Enerdyne's largest power generation site with a capacity of over 3.5 MW! You can check out the project page and pictures from the installaton [here].


12/18/2013: Bi-County Engine 2 Online

After a ecent expansiion at Bi-County, the project has enough gas to support a second engine. That engine (CAT 3520C) is now up and running, thans to Advance One, Caterpillar, and CEMC! Click [here] to check out the BiCo project page.


11/15/2013: Onslow Engine Online

The new CAT 3520C Landfill Gas burning engine at Onslow Power Producers in Jacsonville, NC is now fully operational. You can check out some pictures from Enerdyne's newest project [here].


Q3 2013: New Engines

Advance One Development helps Enerdyne projects at Onslow, Bi-County, and Oak Grove install 3 Caterpillar engines. The new CAT 3520Cs produce 1.953kW at full load and are all expected to be online in Q4, 2013!


5/15/2012: Wewoka Biogas Video

Awards in 2009
Enerdyne received the industry's highest honor, the EPA's LMOP Electric Project of the Year Award. Enerdyne received the award through its most recent development in Greenville, SC. Greenville Gas Producers, LLC became the first project in the world to successfully verify and trade carbon credits under the stringent Voluntary Carbon Standard (VCS).

Introduction to Landfill Gas

Landfill gas is generated by decomposing trash in landfills. Most municipal solid waste (MSW) typically begins to decompose by the time it leaves a residence and has potential to continue decomposing for 30 years or more. Enerdyne captures these emissions in a gas control and collection system (GCCS) and finds ways to creatively utilize the waste gas. (READ MORE)
